Clubhouse is the newest social media platform sweeping the world (if you don’t count Dispo), to be embraced by marketers and other business professionals. With currently one million users on the platform, there are several rooms that will probably fit the niche you are looking for.

If I could give it a simple description, Clubhouse is a two-way podcast that allows users to have conversations in real-time with the hosts or moderators. Most conversations or rooms happen live and aren’t recorded for playback. Although, I have seen some creative techniques of how individuals are using the platform with pre-recorded audio.
Many people are spending a lot of time on the app, looking for conversations about topics they’re interested in hearing. The popularity probably has been enhanced because of the COVID Pandemic.
There are many opportunities for marketers; however, I have seen some shady practices and shady people on the app. Of course, with any platform, you need to watch out for the Snake Oil Salesman, and their quest for a quick buck.
Like I mentioned before, I have mainly been a listener. You can find me at jasonawheeler on the app if you have an account on the platform. You do need to be invited at the moment to participate.
I have had mixed emotions about the app, but I wanted to share some pros and cons about my experiences…
